You do not have to undergo additional procedures to have the BBDRisk Dx^® test performed. The BBDRisk Dx^® test requires only a small amount of tissue that was previously removed during the biopsy of your suspected mass and is available in the Pathology Department of the institution where your biopsy was done. The BBDRisk Dx^® test can be ordered by either your primary care physician, the surgeon or radiologist who performed your biopsy, a gynecologist, or a medical oncologist. The BBDRisk Dx^® test can be ordered at any time after receiving the hyperplasia diagnosis. The test provides information that may be used for planning the course of your disease management, therefore, it is recommended that the BBDRisk Dx^® be ordered soon after the hyperplasia diagnosis is obtained and before any medical management decisions are made.
