Here is how and when to order BBDRisk Dx® Test if you have been diagnosed with hyperplasias including atypia, usual hyperplasia, papilloma or sclerosing adenosis.
You do not have to undergo additional procedures to have the BBDRisk Dx® test performed. The BBDRisk Dx® test requires only a small amount of tissue that was previously removed during the biopsy of your suspected mass and is available in the Pathology Department of the institution where your biopsy was done. The BBDRisk Dx® test can be ordered by either your primary care physician, the surgeon who performed your biopsy, a gynecologist, or a medical oncologist. You can ask your doctor to order the BBDRisk Dx® Test. We can assist your doctor in ordering the test.

The BBDRisk Dx® test can be ordered at any time after receiving the diagnosis of one or more of the following: atypia, usual hyperplasia, papilloma or sclerosing adenosis. The test provides information that may be used for planning the course of your disease management, therefore, it is recommended that the BBDRisk Dx® be ordered soon after the histological diagnosis of the tumor is obtained and before any medical management decisions are made.
